What Is the DDP Rooftop Tour?
Imagine walking across the curved, futuristic rooftop of one of Seoul’s most iconic buildings — 652 meters of open-air pathway with unobstructed 360° views of the Dongdaemun district spread out below. That’s exactly what the 2026 DDP Rooftop Tour offers.
Running from March 21 through May 31, 2026, this guided experience takes you across the entire rooftop of Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP), the sweeping silver landmark designed by Zaha Hadid. The tour departs from the Dulle-gil Lounge on the 4th floor of the DDP Museum.
This isn’t a passive sightseeing stop. It’s a hands-on urban experience where you walk, observe, and discover Seoul’s layered history — its architecture, its neighborhoods, and its daily rhythms — all from a vantage point most visitors never get to see.

Tips for Visitors
- Arrive 20 minutes early. A mandatory safety briefing takes place before the tour, so you need to be at the meeting point at least 20 minutes before start time.
- Wear comfortable shoes. The full 652m rooftop circuit is walked on foot — sneakers or walking shoes are a must.
- Consider the package tour. If you want both the architecture deep-dive and the rooftop panorama, the same-day package is the best value.
- English tours run daily. International visitors can join the English-language tour at 1:00 PM every operating day.
- Photography notice. Photos and video are taken during the tour for documentation and media purposes. Purchasing a ticket includes consent for photography and potential media use.
- Use a transit card. Pick up a T-money card at any convenience store — it works on all Seoul subways and buses and makes getting to DDP seamless.
